The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!

If you could see my insides when I say that "I LOVE CHRISTMAS" you would probably watch as each organ exploded with tinsel, glitter and christmas lights.

There is just something so magical, so anticipating, so exciting, so happy, so loving and pretty much every other good emotion you can feel. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunetly, my camera is lost and my computer is broken. SO...I am typing on Bryan's computer (technically owned by UVM- because yes, his school is SO awesome they gave him a laptop. And they "own" it so that they can fix it for him whenever he needs them to without charging us a cent. And he pays $1 for it after graduation. that was a long side thought.) Anyways....the pictures we have for this post are from our camera phone. And while they are not the best quality, theyare something! Thank heavens for camera phones, i use mine ALL the time.

And in 28 days I am getting this...

so no more camera phone pictures. (i'm very excited for the new
camera- but i dont know the first thing about them, so I also bought the Canon Rebel for Dummies book...)

Well on Thanksgiving we had a DELICIOUS dinner at the Smith's house. Great company and the best Turkey I have EVER had. And if you know my dad's amazing kitchen skills-that is sayin a lot!!

(ethan helping make some orange rolls- yummy!)

We also put up our Christmas Tree! Hooray! I LOVE having the tree up. This is the first ornament up. His Grandma Wilcox bought it for him at a Glass Blowing Studio when she visited Vermont. How cool!

We did a little shopping on Friday- just a few things. And I woke up at 11 am. No 3 am standing in line stuff for me.

But the most exciting thing?! We saw SANTA!!!

Ethan has been SO excited to see Santa and tell him that he wants a choo-choo train. We got there and Ethan was beaming! He couldn't believe Santa was right there. Then we got to the top of the line and Ethan was pushing me saying "go mom. go see santa. go mom" he was pretty nervous. I got him on Santa's lap, but there were no smiles. Which is better then last-year. Santa was so cute though and sang Jingle Bells to him. And got Ethan to tell him what he wanted. "choo-choo trains", of course!

HOORAY! Now we are going to watch ELF (well after the Game of course. GO UTES!!!)

Katies Wedding

So Katie's Wedding. I was waiting to post about this until I got some pictures. The wedding turned out SO good! Her flowers were really pretty. The reception was decorated really well! Thanks to Marilyn Bennett who did all the decorating! She saved us (mostly my mom) from countless hours of set up and trying to decide how to decorate! The food was DELICIOUS. And the Dj was so much fun! Overall it turned out awesome!
We are so happy to have Todd in our family. He loves Katie so much and she loves him just as much. It makes me happy to see my little sister and best friend being well taken care of and loved. They couldn't be more perfect for each other. They truly are MFEO (sleepless in seattle anyone?!)
We didn't get pictures of everything. I wanted so bad to get pictures of every little detail for Katie on my mom's camera, but I was so insanely busy every second that night, I didn't get any. Not one. My brother, Zach, took a few so that will have to do! Here are some pictures... well actually a lot of pictures. But honestly I love looking at wedding pictures, so I am going to assume you want to also.
My little brother Blake felt pretty cool in a tux and having a cool job of opening the door. And honestly can you believe how big he has gotten?!
cute flower girls! i love those dresses! she had like 7 flower girls. so cute!
my mom and grandma! my mom is the best looking mother of the bride I have ever seen!

3 bridesmaids. I really love all of these girls. They are all so cute and fun!

Oh, I love these boys so much. My heart is exploding with happiness! My 2 favorite boys dressed in handsome suits at the temple! Could it get any better?!

They are so perfect for each other.

throwing the bouquet. staci (zach's girlfriend) caught it!! we're hoping that means something =)
cutting the delicious cake! mmm it was so good!

oh man everyone was crying a lot during the daddy-daughter dance. my dad really is such an amazing person. He is a quiet type, but when you get him going, he is hilarious. and he does so many amazing things for people that we find out about way after the fact because he just doesn't like the attention. He is one of my heroes!
Ethan seriously didn't eat any dinner that night. The 2 minutes that I got to sit down with him and a plate of food, he wouldn't touch it. And then he was just being passed around the whole night. But he licked the frosting off of about 5 cupcakes. Nice.

Here are some of the cupcakes. It was set up a lot cuter, but this was as we were tearing everything down. They were SO good. There was Red Velvet, Chocolate with a cream center, Coconut, Lemon, Vanilla and Carrot. mmm...

Here is a centerpiece, this is at the end of the night. I took this after they cleared the tables so it just sittng on the ground.

this was so cute! Thanks again to Marilyn!
This is us saying bye to them in the limo. Austin (behind me) was a friend on mine in High School then married one of Katie's best friends, Natalie. Natalie's family and mine do pretty much everything together so Austin and I are like family now! Never would have thought so in High School when we were just Student Council buddies!

This is as they were leaving. I didn't cry once the whole day. I think because I was busy and just happy for them, Then right before they ran out I went inside and gave Katie a goodbye hug and we both just lost it. I was balling. I can't believe my baby sister is married. And married so well. I am so happy for them!

Katie's Blog

Her blog is http://toddandkatiemanning.blogspot.com/

I thought this might be an easy way to let people know that my little sister Katie has a blog now. Since a lot of people that know me...know her! If you want to keep up on the newlyweds you can! She just put up her honeymoon, which I covet. Oh it would be so nice to have a fun long vacation with just Bryan again.

Happy Halloween

We are usually at Disneyland the few days before and on Halloween so we haven't done all the fun Halloween stuff since we have been married. And although I missed Disneyland SO much this year, being able to do all the fun stuff made up for it! (and if you know my un-healthy obsession with Disneyland...you know that is saying a lot)

Oh and we lost our camera so our pictures are from our phones. Except thew few trick or treating ones that our friends took for us. Thanks Erica! (they are obviously the ones with more the 1 megapixel in the camera)

Here are some pumpkins we carved.
Bryan did the awesome Mickey Mouse one. Ethan loved it!

Ethan being a little hesitant. "can I really just take the candy?!"

This is buddy Gavin, Gavin had to help Ethan out and show him how its done. It was Gavin's birthday on Halloween, fun huh?!

Getting the hang of it and LOVING it! I seriously about died from happiness that night, it was so fun taking him trick or treating.
And I know Superman doesn't usually wear Penguin rainboots, but this Superman had to. It started POURING like seriously pouring about an hour before trick or treating and it stopped right in time for us to go.
This is Sarah, she kept giving Ethan candy. Like "here take some more" haha And of course Ethan just kept standing there and waiting for it. After we left this house he told Erica that Halloween is awesome. Umm ya I would have to agree.

Gavin and Ethan. I think Bryan was holding his trick or treat bag at this point. It was slowing him down and he wanted to get to the "next door" fast! So he started having us carry the bag for him.

Here already has next year planned. He wants to be Buzz Lightyear. And he told Bryan that Bry is going to be Woody, because they are buds. I was hoping to get to be Bo Peep to go with them but when I asked him what I was going to be he said a Pirate....

Fall Time (Part 2)

Vermont is the most quintessential place for Fall. I absolutely love it!

We went apple picking. There are apple picking orchards all over here. It is SO much fun! If anyone comes to visit us in the fall, we will go apple picking! Ethan on a tractor. He is just too cute, we are always taking pictures of him.

Here is Ethan at the orchard.

We had a lot of fun picking apples!

This is the handy little apple-picking-helper. Helps you get the awesome ones up at the top of the tree.
As you can see we had a fun little photo shoot in the apple orchard

Ethan thought it was so fun to pick his own apples and put them in his own basket!

And of course, we visited the Jospeh Smith Memorial. We love that place and want everyone who visits to feel the spirit there.

That bench is where the house was.

A pretty little river. I still can't get over how picturesque Vermont is. We didn't have to go up to the mountains searching for beautiful things like this. They are just everywhere!

Covered Bridges. That was one thing my mom really wanted to do here, see some covered bridges.

So one day when I was first here I saw a perfect little white church like this one and I about came un-glued. Oh my heck i thought this was the cutest thing. Then I kept seeing them everywhere! There are just too cute!

This is at the top of Stowe Mountain. Stowe is the most perfect little town ever. We were driving around for a little while and then all of a sudden we came into their "downtown". I can't believe we didnt take pictures of it. My mom and I at the same time just ghasphed and were like "are you serious?!" it was so stinkin cute it was almost un-real.

We rode a tram to the top of the mountain and it was the most beautiful view!
We thought this was kind of amusing....look at the elevation. 3625 feet. This is the highest peak in Vermont.....Cedar City is 5834 ft. not even in the mountains. haha. It made me wonder why Vermont is SO much colder then Utah when Utah is way higher.

The view from the bottom of the tram.

Ahh...beautiful, eh? Anyone wanna come visit?
