Christmas

So I decided that I am going to start treating this blog as a journal. And since it is going to be a journal, I need to be better at keeping it up to date!
We will start with most wonderful time of the year! CHRISTMAS!

We had an awesome christmas this year! Bryan was out of school for 2 weeks and we chose to stay in Vermont for Christmas. It was sad to not be with family, but we had so much fun just doing our own little Christmas and starting some new traditions.

Bryan and Ethan did a lot of playing in the snow on the side of our house.

I made (sewed) lots of presents for friends and family.

My amarylis grew sideways.

We watched a lot of Christmas movies and drank a lot of hot chocolate.

I had fun shopping for my boys!

I was Mary for our ward Christmas party and Nate was baby Jesus.

On Christmas Eve we went to our Bishops house with a few other friends and did a nativity with the kids. It was really neat! We went back home and opened Christmas pajamas and a Christmas book. This year it was A Night Without Darkness. A nephite story about the birth of Christ. It was a neat book and at the back of the book the author dedicated it to "Ethan and Nate". How CRAZY is that?!

This was on Christmas eve, opening presents. (I didn't dress Ethan that day, haha). This is the only picture I have of Ethan opening presents. I can't believe I forgot to take pictures on Christmas morning!

On Christmas morning we had a lot of fun opening presents, we scored some sweet loot! I got a purple coat from Santa. Santa brought Bryan a watch; Ethan a boombox and Nate a lightup singing toy. The big gift was from Grandpa and Grandma Wilcox, a kitchen! Ethan loves it!

We had a lot of friends over for Christmas dinner; the Larsens, Bagleys and the missionaries. It was a good Christmas!
this is our house right now

Christmas outfits courtesy of Grandpa and Grandma Wilcox. And Janie and Jack...the best kids store on the planet!
