Champlain Valley Fair

Today was a test day for Bryan, and we always do something fun the afternoon after a test. (Well actually...he didn't really take the test. The school had server problems and so they only got through about 30 minutes of the test before they just decided to send all the students home and let them be graded on what they did.) Anyways, we decided to go to the fair. We had a lot of fun! But it was SO hot!! Like 91, which in Vermont, is HOOOTTT!
We of course went to see all the animals, saw a record breaking pumpkin, ate some really yummy but not-so-good-for-you food, went on the ferris wheel and I won #1 rooter in a pig racing contest. Yep...I'm a great pig rooter. It was the pot belly pigs and the announcer chose 1 person from the audience per pig to be their official "rooter". The only stipulation....you had to have a pot belly. So there were about 150 people pointing at me and yelling that I should be chosen. Have you ever had 150 people pointing and laughing at your pregnant belly? Its kind of embarassing. The announcer jokingly said I was cheating with my "pot belly" but assigned me pig #2. He was behind the whole race, but like a true racer...he took the inside corner of the last curve and won it. I won a "#1 Pig Rooter" sticker, a blue ribbon and a plush pig. Ethan hasn't put down the pig and is snuggling it right now.

so I thought I would say that Bingham killed Alta the other night in football! I guess that's probably only because your brother is not playing anymore though. You look so cute prego! And Ethan is so stinkin' big!!

I love the pig rooting story, so fun! Sounds like you are making some wonderful memories in Vermont. We miss all our Cedar friends!
