So I just wanted to let everyone know we are still alive! Bryan started school and we have been having fun. We miss Bryan, but it has been nice to be back into our routine! As far as pregnancy; I'm starting to feel huge. Ya know....can't move, hips hurt, braxton hicks contractions, bending over is a joke....but I'm surviving! I don't really feel ready to have a baby yet, so I'm glad I have a few more weeks to get myself ready. You could say I'm a little petrified of labor and delivery this time around. I wasn't at all with Ethan, I just figured billions of women have done it so I will be fine. But this time I am terrified of the pain, how I'm going to get to the hospital and who is going to take care of Ethan during labor. Also the anxiety and stress of delivery. And of course recovery afterwards, no sleep and taking care of a newborn. So if ya have any advice, words of comfort or motivation (and I know lots of you do) go ahead and shoot some at me!
But I want to share this video with you that my sister shared with me because it is so cute and funny. I'm not sure how to embed a video in the blog and I don't do instructions...so here is the link....

Oh Christy, I have to agree with you!! You and I are neck and neck in our pregnancy's, I will be 35 weeks tomorrow. Keep in mind that this is number 4 for me. But everything you said you are afraid of, I'm too feeling the same way. I feel like such a big chicken!!!!!
Cutest video! Oh my goodness, that kid was just a doll! Anyways, GIRL!!! What are neighbors for when no fam is around???!!! PLEASE bring Ethan over when you are in labor and anytime you need to rest or get some things done. I am right across the street! And I can take you to the hospital if Bryan isn't home - it's not an inconvenience at all. Just know that I am here and know what it's like to not have family around to help out!
P.S. Is there anything else you need for baby boy?
Ditto what Sara said. Don't even worry about Ethan AT ALL or how you are getting to the hospital. I'm sure between me and Sara everything will be just fine. And I promise that it will not be a big deal. You can even call if its the middle of the night. We can work it out.
I am so excited for you Christy! I am so nervous for my first labor and delivery already! I keep trying to have the same attitude you did "millions of women have done it" but...I already am terrified! But I guess a cute little baby is going to be worth it! Do you guys have names picked out?
i felt the same way! but i just did it and i know you'll be fine. it goes faster than you think (especially since this is your second) -- and it really does feel great to get rid of that big belly. :) good luck!
You are a tough cookie! I think that you will do awesome when the baby comes!! Hang in there! It's all worth it in the end!!
