Nate in 2011

Nathan James Clark (a.k.a. Nater, Nater-Tots, Baby Nate, Natey)

- He is a very quick learner, he copies things we do and say after watching/hearing only a few times. (today his new things were sweeping with a broom, folding his arms by himself for prayers, shooting baskets, putting his sippy cup away, knowing where to put his toothbrush when he is done and doing jumping jacks)
- He loves "Memo" (Elmo) and Winnie the Pooh. We know when he wants Winnie when he hums the theme song.
- He can sit through full episodes of Sesame Street and Blues Clues (yes, my kids watch too much tv.)
- He LOVES to brush his teeth and anytime we are near the bathroom he asks for it "oobra".
- He makes lots of animal sounds (cow, horse, elephant, monkey, dog, cat, lion, sheep, pig, donkey, pirate, dolphin)
- His laugh is contagious. It is like a deep, manical cackle.
- He loves to eat! He has been out-eating Ethan since he was born. Seriously.
- His BFF is Sara Krieder. Since he was born he has just really loved Sara. Even when he has the option of me or Sara, he will usually choose Sara. It is adorable.
- He can say lots of words, well compared to Ethan at this age. (cracker, mama, dada, water, please, all done, no, yes, elmo, binky, night-night, toothbrush, ball, baby, soft, puppy, Gauge- the dog we watched in NYC, sandwich, Mickey, uh-oh)
- He can sing "baby, baby, baby ohhh" from Justin Bieber
- His blue eyes melt my heart
- He is an awful teether (we are currently working on molars)
- He loves to see how high he can climb {heart-attack!!!}
- He sings a lot while playing by himself and dances when he hears music.
- He loves doing Sunbeam, Ducks In A Pond and Patty-Cake
- He loves to play and be wild. I have a feeling he is going to a handful of a 2 year old.
- He snuggles lots when he wakes up from his naps, which I take full advantage of.
- He loves Ethan from afar.

It's amazing how you fast you love your children and can't remember life without them.  He brings so much love and joy to our home. I love my Natey Baby!
