Our stuff left Cedar on July 22nd. We were hoping our car would get shipped, but you list your car on this website and a semit-truck like takes your offer and picks up your car. Well we were the only car going from Vegas to Vermont so no semi's were going to head that way. So Bryan packed up the durango and drove across the country in 3 days with his little brother.
bryan got to vermont on wed. the 29th and got here right before our stuff. I was trying to fly out for like 3 days but the weather in New York was bad so all the flights were being cancelled. So I flew to Boston and Bryan drove 3 1/2 hours down to pick me up! It was a red-eye flight, so I was exhausted. I can't sleep on planes. But Ethan was an angel on the flight. He did SO good! Which was good because my anxiety was through thr roof. I am terrified of flying, so Ethan being good was very helpful!
Ok so here are the pictures....
These are some pictures with some of our friends. I forgot to take some with others, which I'm sad about, but here are the ones we got.
Dave and Ethan. Ethan loves Dave because he has energy to keep up with him.
And their little boy Weston. Ethan still talks about his little toes. He does this high pitched little squeeky voice and puts his fingers up by his chin and says "baby weston toes so cuuuuute." Ethan really loves babies, he will be a good big brother someday... In the distant future.
Hooray I got to hold Weston! =) Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of Alyssa.
The McEwens made us creme brulee the night before we left! YUM!! It was amazing! So this is us, the McEwens and the McArthurs. The McArthurs left the same day as us to Oregon for dental school.
Here is our trailer we packed our stuff into. The mop is where our stuff ends. From the back of the trailer to the mop. That was like 10 feet of space.
Packed like crazy!
This wall kept all our stuff in and seperated it from everyone elses.
I went to the singles ward with my sister and I got to see some of my high school friends at church. I LOVE THEM!!! It was so fun to see Colette and Diana.
And the night I flew out, it was my moms birthday. When i checked my bags she asked for a pass to go sit at the gate with me "to help with the baby". It was way nice because like i said, I was freaking out. I really do hate flying. But we pretty much decided that my moms birthday this year was sad, because we left her. =(. Doesn't that cake look good? I didn't have any, i was all caught up in trying to get out to the airport I forgot to have some.

We did ABF when we moved to Texas, but this time we're driving a moving truck out ourself. Bleck. . .we'll see how that goes.
I'm glad you got there safely. We hated moving too, it's such a pain. Keep us updated and good luck with school!
