It started Friday with my Grandma Pratt stopping by on her way down to Vegas. She brought her dog Lucy with her, which was fun for Ethan. Lucy is honestly the best dog that has ever existed so it was really fun to see her.
So now its Saturday. I have been wanting to take Ethan to get a pumpkin and I saw in the newspaper they were having the annual Great Pumpkin Festival down on SUU's campus...perfect! I got up early and got ready (which is a marathon trying to get ready with a baby) and we headed down to campus. I'm driving down the road and I see like 100 sheep walking down main street...(Christy, you're not in Vegas anymore..). Oh ya its the Sheep Parade today! How fun, so I rolled down the windows and Ethan started making his sheep sound "Aaaah". We got to the Pumpkin Festival only to be disappointed. It looked like a lot of fun for older kids, but there was nothing for a 1 year old to do! So we walked around a bit and Ethan enjoyed trying to up-root the inflatable pumpkins. As we were driving back we got stuck behind the sheep parade so I decided to take a back road and try to get ahead of them so Ethan could see them again. I got to our apartments got Ethan in his stroller and booked it down Nichols Canyon Rd only to catch the tail end of the sheep. So I thought well maybe if I run I can make it to the next street in time. So I ran up Nichols Canyon Rd. (Mind you its very steep...in my flip flops) and down to a chapel right before the next street. We barely made it, so Ethan is "Aaah"-ing at the sheep and I can barely breathe. They started heading up the road we were on and I was so excited I thought they would walk past us! I got Ethan out and we played on the chapel's lawn. The sheep stopped before it got to the church though and they (the people on the horses who direct the sheep...would those still be called shephards? And yes you can make fun of me for not knowing) directing them to a field to eat. The horses were neighing and Ethan was neighing back.
We headed home and took a nap. When we woke up we got ready to go to High School Musical 3. I wanted to go really bad and we thought if there is a movie Ethan will sit through it would be HIgh School Musical, with all that singing and dancing. Well all the tickets were sold out for the entire night! Sad!
Well Sunday came around and Ethan found this old massager. So we taught Ethan how to give massages. Bryan said "this is the best thing we have ever taught him." haha. He still does it. He loves that little massager!

Fun Sheep parade. For this city being festival USA I surely have no idea what's going on. I like the back massage. Madi would just hand it over to us and tell us to give her one.
Can I borrow Ethan for a few hours? I could use one of those massages!
He is so cute! It was so much fun to see you at Bunko! I miss you!! Oh and I want your recipe for your meat pasta sauce, it was amazing!
