A sister is a forever friend

My sister and brother-in-law came to visit last week.  It was SO MUCH FUN! Katie and Todd are the adventurous travelers in our family and boy did they keep up busy while they were here.  We had 6 days to pack Vermont into!  

We....

....drove through Smugglers Notch

....went to the Von Trapp Family Lodge

.....Ran a 10k

....ate an AMAZING breakfast at the Inn at Shelburne

....saw lovely views

...and climbed hills to see even lovelier views

...picked apples in unconventional ways

....held chickens and petted farm animals at Shelburne Farms

.....held chickens in ways that wouldn't get pee on you

...visited the birthplace of Joseph Smith

....saw Huntington Gorge

....did some leaf peeping

....went on some Nature walks

.....visited Camel's Hump State Park

....saw covered bridges

....ate maple cremees (vermont's funny word for soft serve ice cream)

...bought matching shirts

....gave lots of kisses

....and loves

....and more loves

......and did a lot of smiling =)

Not pictured was the Ben and Jerry's factory, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Lake Champlain Chocolates, Bluebird Tavern, Pie-casso Pizzeria, Church, actual apple picking in a real orchard, late night games, hair-dying, apple crisps, and Katie doing non-stop laundry for me =)

Busy week? Yes! Fun week?! Definitely! Love my sister and her hubs? More and more! Miss them? Absotutalutly!
